We’re Tax Deductible!
We have some incredibly exciting news to share with all our friends and supporters.
The Scaffidi Foundation has recently been approved by the ATO as a deductible gift recipient and can now accept tax deductible donations.
From now on, any person or organisation donating over $2 will receive a tax deductible receipt.
Not only does this benefit individuals who support the Foundation, but it also opens the Foundation up to a whole new world of potential support from grant and funding bodies. In turn, this change allows us to grow and provide even more support to families living with cancer.
We’ve been providing support in a variety of different ways for more than six years now. The Foundation plans to increase the number of family holidays to Queensland we organise each year and include an educational scholarship, financial relief, gifts, special wishes for children in need and funding towards a parent lounge at Challenge House in West Melbourne.
A special thank you to Freehills for their assistance and guidance.

Jess, age 9, was first diagnosed with cancer when she was 3.5 years old. She has had a kidney tumour, four brain tumours and has undergone regular radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Shortly after meeting Jess, Angela from the Scaffidi Foundation made a deal with her; if she was brave enough to go through with her treatment, Angela would dye her hair hot pink, Jess’ favourite colour.
