Dimitri was a long-time and very generous volunteer of the Scaffidi Foundation. Many of the photographs on this site were taken by Dimitri. He lived an extraordinary life. He pushed all of us to be better people and to live life to the full. Dimitri passed away from cancer on Friday 3 July. We send our love and condolences to his family.
We will always remember him.

Jess, age 9, was first diagnosed with cancer when she was 3.5 years old. She has had a kidney tumour, four brain tumours and has undergone regular radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Shortly after meeting Jess, Angela from the Scaffidi Foundation made a deal with her; if she was brave enough to go through with her treatment, Angela would dye her hair hot pink, Jess’ favourite colour.
